Vacuum pumps and air compressors
Compressed air pumps are devices used to create a vacuum in a small chamber in order to move liquids or other materials during the function of an application. Vacuum pumps are able to achieve vacuums by exhausting gas molecules out of the chamber or by condensing the molecules to create a vacuum of light. Vacuum pumps use one of the three main techniques for creating a vacuum:
Positive displacement in the vacuum pump: This process involves artificially expanding part of a chamber from exhaust gas molecules.Transfer dynamics: Moment transfer uses a positive displacement device to gather molecules and then jets of oil or mercury to exhaust the gas.
Trap: Cools gas molecules so that they gather on a surface of a vacuum pump and create a vacuum of light, is the main method of entrapment.
Vacuum pumps are used in a wide variety of applications, ranging from vacuum chambers to simple water pumps, because they effectively create small voids relatively quickly.
The qualities of a pump are measured by the pumping speed, which is the volume displaced per unit of time, and the transfer rate, which measures the pumping speed against the pressure of the gas. These qualities vary according to the type of principle used to create the vacuum and what type of gas is pumped out of a chamber.
Medo pumps are exclusive products that feature a patented linear motor driven free piston system. Used in applications ranging from life support systems to robotics. Nitto Kohki has developed a comprehensive range of precision air compressors and vacuum pumps that incorporate this unique functional design. Proven around the world for over two decades, we are proud to have been selected by many leading companies in advanced industries as their premier supplier of air compressor type equipment.
We produce low and intermediate pressure compressors, blowers, diaphragm and vacuum pumps in a unique linear conveyor design that has only one moving part, making them much more efficient and reliable than traditional pumps. In addition, we also manufacture brushless cup diaphragm and seal pumps.
Tecnoar distributes MEDO vacuum pumps throughout Portugal, especially in the North of the country.
